WRCOG Award for Outstanding Community Service
Each year at its annual General Assembly & Leadership Conference, WRCOG recognizes an individual and an organization that exemplifies community service leadership and outstanding contributions to improving quality of life in Western Riverside County. WRCOG is currently seeking nominations from member agencies for the 2026 recipients of the WRCOG Award for Outstanding Community Service.
To nominate, please complete this form by 5:00 pm on Friday March 6. All nominations are due at this time via the form below.
Only elected officials from WRCOG’s member agencies and members of the Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) may submit nominations. The recently updated nomination guidelines are as follows:
- Recipient exhibits exemplary volunteerism;
- Recipient is not a current elected public official;
- Recipient is not currently employed by a WRCOG member agency; and
- There are two award categories: individual and group.
- One recipient will be selected from each category. Nominees who are not selected as Community Service Award recipients will be recognized for their contributions with a finalist plaque, either at the August Executive Committee meeting following the General Assembly or at a meeting of their respective City Council.
